本网讯：7月2日，我校国际教育学院在张裕酒庄举办英语实践活动。本次活动由国际教育学院主办，校团委、基础课部协办，英语俱乐部成员及国际教育学院学生代表参加。学校副董事长张玉洁，副校长赵一凡，校长助理张利军，相关职能部门负责人、基础课部英语教师、国教院英语教师、英语俱乐部指导教师及师生代表参加活动。
On July 2, the International Education College of our university organized an English Language Practice Activity at Changyu Winery. The event was hosted by the International Education College, with the Youth League Committee and the Department of Basic Courses serving as co-organizers. Members of the English Club and student representatives from the International Education College participated in the activity.
Among the distinguished guests were Ms. Zhang Yujie, Vice Chair of the University Board; Mr. Zhao Yifan, Vice President of the University; Mr. Zhang Lijun, Assistant to the President; heads of relevant administrative departments; English teachers from the Department of Basic Courses and the International Education College; faculty advisors of the English Club; as well as faculty and student representatives.
本次活动是国际教育学院立足学院办学特色、服务学校国际化发展、推进英语实践育人的一次重要探索，也是英语俱乐部成员阶段性学习成果和学生综合素质的一次集中展示。活动依托张裕酒庄真实文化场景，将英语学习、艺术展示、文化体验和实践育人有机融合，引导学生在开放、多元、生动的情境中提升语言表达能力、跨文化理解能力和综合实践能力。
This activity represented an important initiative by the International Education College to capitalize on its distinctive educational strengths, support the university's internationalization strategy, and promote experiential English language education. It also served as a comprehensive showcase of the English Club members' learning achievements and students' overall competencies.
Drawing on the authentic cultural setting of Changyu Winery, the activity effectively integrated English language learning, artistic performances, cultural experiences, and experiential education into a unified learning experience. Through an open, diverse, and engaging environment, students were encouraged to enhance their English communication skills, intercultural competence, and overall practical abilities while applying what they had learned in real-life contexts.
活动现场，国际教育学院学生与英语俱乐部成员联袂呈现形式多样、内容丰富的英文节目展演。英文歌曲演唱旋律悠扬，充分展现学生良好的语言感知能力与蓬勃青春活力；英文演讲主题鲜明、表达流畅，深刻体现学生对语言学习、文化理解及未来发展的独立思考；英文话剧情节生动、表演自然，精准将英语表达融入角色塑造与情境交流；街舞表演节奏鲜明、朝气十足，尽显青年学子自信昂扬的精神风貌；英文合唱整齐饱满、富有感染力，将现场氛围推向最高潮。同学们以英语为桥梁，以舞台为课堂，在表演中展示学习成果，在交流中增强表达自信，在掌声中凝聚成长力量。
During the event, students from the International Education College and members of the English Club jointly presented a series of diverse and engaging English-language performances. Melodious English songs demonstrated the students' strong language awareness and youthful vitality. English speeches, characterized by clear themes and confident delivery, reflected their thoughtful perspectives on language learning, cultural understanding, and future development. English drama performances featured vivid storylines and natural acting, seamlessly integrating English communication into character portrayal and situational interaction. Energetic street dance performances showcased the confidence, enthusiasm, and dynamic spirit of the younger generation, while the English choir captivated the audience with its harmonious and expressive performance, bringing the event to its climax.
Using English as a bridge for communication and the stage as an extension of the classroom, students demonstrated their learning achievements through performance, strengthened their confidence in English communication through interaction, and cultivated personal growth through shared experiences and enthusiastic applause.
不同于传统课堂中的单向学习，本次活动把英语学习放在真实表达和综合展示之中，让学生从“学英语”走向“用英语”，从“会表达”走向“敢展示”，从语言训练走向文化体验和能力生成。一个节目、一次登台、一段表达，既是学生阶段性学习成果的呈现，也是学生突破自我、发现自我、塑造自我的过程。活动充分展现了我校国际教育学院学生积极向上、敢于表达、勇于实践的青春风采。
Unlike traditional classroom instruction, which often emphasizes one-way knowledge acquisition, this activity placed English learning in an authentic context of communication, performance, and comprehensive practice. It encouraged students to move beyond simply learning English to using it confidently in real-life situations, from being able to express themselves to having the confidence to present on stage, and from language training to meaningful cultural engagement and competence development.
Every performance, every appearance on stage, and every opportunity to speak in English represented not only a demonstration of students' learning achievements, but also a journey of self-discovery, self-improvement, and personal growth. The event vividly showcased the International Education College students' enthusiasm, confidence, and willingness to embrace challenges through active participation, fully reflecting the vibrant spirit, communicative competence, and practical abilities of the university's young learners.
在实践活动中，师生共同参观张裕酒庄，了解酒庄发展历史、葡萄酒酿造工艺、红酒文化及相关国际礼仪知识。通过参观学习、文化讲解、互动体验等环节，学生在沉浸式环境中感受中西文化交流的内涵，进一步拓展了国际视野，增强了对不同文化背景下语言应用场景的理解。活动将语言学习置于真实文化场域之中，使英语学习不再局限于课堂和教材，而成为学生认识世界、理解文化、表达自我的重要路径。
As part of the practice activity, faculty members and students toured Changyu Winery together, gaining insights into its history and development, the winemaking process, wine culture, and international etiquette associated with wine appreciation. Through guided tours, cultural presentations, and interactive experiences, students explored the rich connotations of intercultural exchange in an immersive learning environment. The activity broadened their global perspectives and deepened their understanding of how language is used across diverse cultural contexts.
By situating language learning within an authentic cultural setting, the activity extended English education beyond the boundaries of the classroom and textbooks. It enabled students to use English as a meaningful tool for exploring the world, appreciating cultural diversity, and expressing themselves with greater confidence, further strengthening the integration of language learning with intercultural competence and holistic personal development.
近年来，我校国际教育学院充分发挥国际化办学优势与小班化教学特色，坚持以学生成长为中心，推动第一课堂教学成果与第二课堂实践活动深度融合。本次活动通过英文歌唱、英文演讲、英文话剧、合唱、街舞展示、文化参观及现场交流等多元形式，为学生搭建起展示自我、锻炼能力、提升素养的实践平台，充分体现了学院在英语应用型教学、实践育人及国际化人才培养方面的积极探索与扎实成效。本次活动亦是学院小班化教学成果的生动展示。小班化教学不仅是教学组织形式的优化提升，更是育人理念与培养模式的深刻转变。依托“双导师”教管融合机制，学院更加关注学生个体差异与成长全过程，引导学生在学习中树立自信、在实践中提升能力、在展示中认识自我。活动把舞台交给学生，使学生真正成为学习成果的展示者、文化交流的参与者和成长发展的主人翁。教师在陪伴指导中发掘学生闪光点，学生在展示实践中发现自身潜力，进一步激发了学好英语、参与实践、拓展国际视野的内生动力。此次活动也是国际教育学院深入贯彻落实赵超董事长提出的“三结合 五赋能”应用型人才培养理念的具体实践。学院坚持语言学习与实践育人相结合、国际化特色与应用型人才培养相结合、学生个体成长与学校发展定位相结合，不断拓展师生国际视野，提升学生面向未来发展的综合素养与核心能力。通过将英语学习融入真实文化场景、将课堂教学延伸至社会实践空间、将学生展示转化为全过程育人环节，活动进一步丰富了国际化育人内涵，促进学生在实践体验中不断增强语言自信、文化理解与跨文化交流能力。
In recent years, the International Education College has fully leveraged its strengths in internationalized education and small-class teaching, adhering to a student-centered educational philosophy while promoting the deep integration of classroom instruction with experiential learning beyond the classroom. Through a variety of activities—including English singing, public speaking, drama performances, choir presentations, street dance, cultural visits, and interactive exchanges—this event provided students with a comprehensive platform to showcase their talents, strengthen their practical competencies, and enhance their overall personal development. The activity highlighted the College's continuous efforts and remarkable achievements in application-oriented English education, experiential learning, and the cultivation of internationally minded talents.
The event also served as a vivid demonstration of the outcomes of the College's small-class teaching model. More than simply an improvement in instructional organization, small-class teaching represents a fundamental transformation in educational philosophy and talent cultivation. Supported by the College's integrated dual-mentor education and student support system, greater attention is devoted to students' individual differences and their holistic development throughout the learning process. Students are encouraged to build confidence through learning, develop competencies through practice, and gain self-awareness through participation and presentation.
By placing students at the center of the stage, the event empowered them to become presenters of their own learning achievements, active participants in intercultural communication, and protagonists in their personal growth and development. Throughout the activity, faculty members guided and encouraged students to recognize their strengths, while students discovered their own potential through authentic practice and public performance. As a result, the activity further inspired their intrinsic motivation to improve their English proficiency, engage actively in experiential learning, and broaden their global perspectives.
The event also represented a concrete implementation of the application-oriented talent cultivation philosophy of Three Integrations and Five Empowerments advocated by Chairman Zhao Chao. Guided by this educational philosophy, the College consistently integrates language learning with experiential education, combines internationalized educational characteristics with application-oriented talent development, and aligns students' individual growth with the University's strategic development goals. Through these efforts, the College continues to broaden the international outlook of both faculty members and students while strengthening learners' comprehensive competencies and core capabilities for future development.
By embedding English learning within authentic cultural settings, extending classroom instruction into real-world social practice, and transforming student presentations into an integral component of the holistic educational process, the activity further enriched the University's internationalized educational approach. It enabled students to continuously strengthen their confidence in English communication, deepen their intercultural understanding, and enhance their cross-cultural communication skills through meaningful experiential learning.
此次活动，校团委在活动组织、学生动员和校园文化建设方面给予有力支持，基础课部充分发挥英语教学专业优势，在语言指导、节目打磨、内容设计和现场交流等方面提供了重要保障。多方协同、共同参与，推动形成了课堂教学、学生组织、实践活动和国际化育人相互支撑的良好格局。
The successful organization of the event was made possible through the close collaboration of multiple departments across the University. The Youth League Committee provided strong support in event coordination, student engagement, and campus cultural development, while the Department of Basic Courses fully leveraged its expertise in English language teaching by offering professional guidance in language coaching, performance preparation, program design, and on-site communication.
Through the joint efforts of all participating departments, the event fostered a collaborative educational framework in which classroom instruction, student organizations, experiential learning, and internationalized education complemented and reinforced one another. This collaborative approach further strengthened the University's commitment to cultivating globally competent, application-oriented talents through the integration of academic learning with practical experience.
活动中，赵一凡对国际教育学院英语实践活动和基础课部英语俱乐部建设成效给予充分肯定。他指出，英语教学要进一步突破传统课堂的单向传授模式，更多采用引导式、启发式、互动式教学方法，尊重学生主体地位，激发学生学习兴趣和表达动力。教师不仅要关注学生“学到了什么”，更要关注学生“能否表达、是否自信、怎样成长”。他希望国际教育学院继续探索非灌输式教学模式，把语言学习融入真实情境，把学生成长贯穿教育教学全过程，引导学生在实践中提升能力、增强自信、拓展未来发展空间。
During the event, Mr. Zhao Yifan, Vice President of the University, highly commended the achievements of the International Education College's English language practice initiatives and the development of the English Club under the Department of Basic Courses.
He emphasized that English language teaching should move beyond the traditional teacher-centered model of one-way knowledge transmission by adopting more student-centered, inquiry-based, and interactive teaching approaches. Respecting students' central role in the learning process, he noted, is essential to fostering their interest in learning and motivating them to communicate with confidence. He further stressed that educators should focus not only on what students have learned, but also on whether they are able to communicate effectively, develop self-confidence, and achieve meaningful personal growth.
Mr. Zhao expressed his hope that the International Education College would continue exploring innovative, learner-centered approaches to language education by integrating English learning into authentic communicative contexts and embedding student development throughout the entire educational process. Through sustained experiential learning, he encouraged the College to help students strengthen their practical competencies, build greater confidence, and expand their opportunities for future academic and professional development.

Looking ahead, under the unified leadership of the University, the International Education College will continue to work closely with the Youth League Committee, the Department of Basic Courses, and other relevant departments to further strengthen the development of the English Club, improve the English language practice program, and expand opportunities for students to apply their language skills and engage in meaningful intercultural experiences.
